IFCN Education and Research Scholarships for Young Clinical Neurophysiologists in Canada, 2018

The IFCN is pleased to announce two 2018 IFCN fellowships for young clinical neurophysiologists. Scholarships for education and research are open to young clinical neurophysiologists who wish to spend at least 6 months in a neurophysiological laboratory with a national / international reputation.

The aim of the fellowships is to support applicants from economically disadvantaged countries and applicants from industrialized countries who have been studying for at least 6 months (applications should include the duration of their studies).

The International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN) has members in 59 countries worldwide. The main goal of the IFCN is to promote education and the highest level of clinical neurophysiology to improve health.

Scholarship Description:

Deadline: March 30, 2018
Course Level: Scholarships are available to follow education and research programs.
Subject: Scholarships are awarded to young clinical neurophysiologists.
Scholarship Award: Education Scholarship – The IFCN awards three scholarships of $ 25,000 each to young clinical neurophysiologists who wish to spend at least 6 months in a neurophysiological laboratory with a national / international reputation. Applicants are expected to continue their training in clinical neurophysiology.
Research Grant: The IFCN awards three scholarships of $ 25,000 each to young clinical neurophysiologists who wish to spend at least 6 months in a neurophysiological research lab with a national / international reputation. Applicants are expected to participate in a research project.
Nationality: Applicants from developing countries can apply for the scholarships.
Number of scholarships available: Three study grants and three research grants are available.
Scholarship can be taken in Canada

Authorization for the Scholarship:

Eligible countries: Applicants from developing countries can apply for the scholarships.
Admission Requirements: Applicants must be young clinical neurophysiologists.
English language requirements: Applicants must speak fluent English.

  • In order to apply for these scholarships applicants must enclose the following documents:
  1. A CV and a list of publications.
  2. Copy of identity card or passport with the date of birth.
  3. Description of the destination of the planned project (1 page).
  4. Letter of recommendation from the home university – Letter must be signed and written on the letterhead of the institute.
  5. Letter of acceptance from the host university – The letter must be signed and written on the letterhead of the institute.
